Apprenticeship Programs

Flexible program options tailored to meet your needs as a full-time student and working professional with little-to-no cost to you; Earn a bachelor’s or master’s degree and complete licensing requirements in as little as one year

Paraprofessional Pathways Project (PPP)

Undergraduate-level program

Nevada paraprofessionals and school support professionals can earn a bachelor’s degree while continuing to work full-time in their current position and school.

Accelerated Alternate Route to Licensure (A-ARL)

Graduate-level program

Students who have completed a bachelor’s degree earn a master’s degree while serving as a classroom teacher of record in a Nevada public or charter school.

Pre-Appreticeship Programs

Students who have not yet completed all their general education requirements start their journey to the undergraduate apprenticeship while starting a career in a Nevada school.

Adult Rebel Start Academy (RSA)


Students can earn up to 60 general education credits in a single academic year with accelerated coursework specially designed for RSA students.

Youth Rebel Start Academy

Dual/Concurrent enrollment program for High school students

Students beginning their junior year in high school can take dual/concurrent enrollment courses and complete up to 60 college credits while completing an internship in a school setting.

Extracurricular Fellowship Program

Supplement your bachelor’s or master’s degree program with extracurricular engagement opportunities along with fellowship funding.

Nevada Institute on Teaching & Educator Preparation (NITEP) Fellowship

Designed to provide students with educational and community engagement opportunities, NITEP Fellowships set future educators up to succeed in their careers.

Our goal is to provide each NITEP Fellow with new and innovative experiences around education research, training, and preparation that go above and beyond what you receive in your pre-service coursework and practicum.
